How To Clean Glass Pipes

By Mamie Conrad

Once you are done using your glass pipes, you need to make sure to keep it clean so that it will not be damaged right away. There are actually pipe cleaners that can easily cleanse it but if you do not have it then you need to do it on your own. You just need to follow the steps so that you will be guided.

So first, you need to stuck it with water so that there will be no dust anymore. You need to hold it extra close to you because it might fall off and break. This is very important because once it will be broken, it will be difficult for you to put it back in place.

The next thing that you need to get is a plastic bag. Once you have it already you need to position alcohol inside it. You need to get the pipe because you will put the pipe inside and then you need to make sure that it will be covered completely.

Turn the microwave on so that you it will already be heated even before you put the bag inside. After about one to two seconds, put the bag inside and leave it there for ten seconds. Once the timer will sound, get it right away to avoid any other damages that might occur.

After that, you need to take the bag out of the microwave right away. Now you need to trill it as hard as you can so that the alcohol will enter the tube. This will also help in removing the dirt and all of the debris that is still inside it.

Now you need to get a piece of paper or any towel that you can get hold of. When you have it already, get an ear swab and connect it to the towel or the paper. You will use it to get those dirt that are still left inside and outside of the tube and make it really squeaky clean.

If you really want to loosen the resin build up of your tube, then you can opt to use the vinegar and sea salt technique. It is done the same as the water method but this is much simpler to be done. The vinegar is very mild so it will act as a solvent which means it will make it cleaner compared to the water.

All the things that you need to start cleaning it up should be present at all times. You can start by buying and preparing your gloves, the alcohol, bags, ear swab and a piece of paper or towel. All of these will really be of help to you as you start cleaning the tube.

You now know how to clean glass pipes on your own. Do not worry if you are scared to rinse and cleanse it especially if you are wearing gloves because it will not slip off. These tubes are not that expensive for you to buy but do not just lay it hanging around or break it because money does not grow on trees and no matter how cheap it is you need to take care of it.
