The larger Journey Island on the beach also may include Shipwreck Island, a Jacksonville water park.

There isn't an age limitation, but there are height restrictions. Drivers must be at least 4 feet tall and passengers must be at least 3 feet tall. Kids drivers are required to drive with an adult and protecting eye glasses and helmets are available. Once the kids are prepared to drive, they will take their buggy over small hills, around mild bends and potentially through the mud dependent on conditions. There aren't races at Dune Buggy Adventure Park, everyone just rides for fun. Park conveniences include picnic tables and the park have griddles on request. The park is usually booked for birthday parties, but a fast check on their website.
